Iranian Education Minister: 30 students, 7 teachers martyred in Israeli attacks

Iranian Education Minister Alireza Kazemi has announced that 30 students and 7 teachers were killed during the recent 12-day war launched by the Israeli regime against Iran.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Iranian Education Minister Alireza Kazemi has announced that 30 students and 7 teachers were killed during the recent 12-day war launched by the Israeli regime against Iran.

Speaking to reporters, Kazemi condemned the loss of life caused by the aggression and emphasized that protective measures are being adopted by the ministry to safeguard students and educators in times of conflict. “We have formed 14 specialized committees and developed contingency plans for emergency situations,” he explained.

According to Mehr, the conflict began in the early hours of June 13, when the Israeli regime launched a broad offensive on Iranian territory, targeting multiple military and nuclear installations. The strikes claimed the lives of senior military commanders, nuclear scientists, and numerous civilians.

Iran responded with 22 waves of missile attacks on Israeli positions, leading to the intervention of the United States to broker a ceasefire.

However, on June 22, the U.S. escalated the conflict by bombing three Iranian nuclear facilities, a move Tehran described as a grave breach of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

In retaliation, Iran launched a missile strike on June 23 against the al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest American military facility in West Asia.
